Thank you for coming on and exploring my website. I got into photography as a way to share the beauty of my surroundings when I was out climbing and mountaineering. Over the years I have won, or been a finalist, on multiple photo competitions including Climbing Magazine, Fairmont, and Katrina Line. I have been published in the Squamish Bouldering Guidebook, Epiphone, Climbing Magazine, and others.

I studied photography at the New School in New York and assisted renown stock photographer Tom Grill for several years. Galen Rowell was the first photographer from whom I drew inspiration. What drew me to Galen was that he combined his climbing passion with his photography talent to create amazing images in exotic locations. Galen's disciples include Jimmy Chin and Keith Ladzinski, both of whom carry on his spirit. Another source of inspiration for me is Andreas Gursky and I'm always on the lookout for scenes where I may compose an image in his style. Recently, as I have gotten more into landscape photography, I have looked to YouTubers Mads Peter Iversen and Michael Shainblum who get amazing images with their attention to compositional detail and great editing skills.

I launched this website to showcase my work, which since 2023, I have ramped up and worked at really hard (lots of early mornings!). Living in Central Oregon has positioned me minutes away from some of nature's most stunning locations.

Purchasing Prints

I have prints for sale in the store. I use Whitewall for the printing who do an amazing job. I have a 60 inch ultraHD acrylic glass of the Mt Bachelor Sunrise in my office that looks stunning. The store is setup for the images to be printed on Whitewall's ultraHD Acrylic Glass. If you would prefer a print on paper, metal, or framed, just let me know and it can be arranged.
